Elf on The Shelf is one of my favorite holiday time traditions! He appears the day after Thanksgiving and stays till Christmas Eve night. Sometimes he makes a guest appearance for special occasions like the first day of school or Birthdays. And he can send down reminders for good behavior if he notices really bad behavior. He causes mischief and watches over the kids behavior. He moves every night after good behavior. For bad behavior he stays put or sends a note. And if he is touched he loses his magic and can not move to report to Santa.
Here are some pictures of what our elf has done. His name is Elfie and my kids love him and are already talking about seeing him again!
